  • Fundamental software concepts: all file formats in one unified working environment, integrated terminology components, context-related reuse of your translations
  • Customised configuration of your personal settings
  • The most important features for translating: Concordance Search, Auto-Propagate, QuickInsert
  • Efficient translation of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files

  • Collaborating successfully with customers and colleagues using project packages
  • Using terminology for translations
  • Expanded features for translating: comments, filters, tags
  • Reusing translations created outside of Studio: Alignment
  • Creating a terminology database based on terminology lists
  • Creating a translation memory

  • Advanced features: global find and replace, insertion of special characters, segmentation
  • Project overview: project statistics and reports
  • Reliability through proofreading processes: tracking changes and inserting comments

  • Establishing a terminology database and configuring the entry structure
  • Converting existing terminology lists for use in MultiTerm
  • Efficient use of MultiTerm for translating in Trados Studio
